Use when cognitive symptoms just start to arise. Also use while doing work on the computer to alleviate onset of cognitive symptoms from mental focus.
Listen with over-the-ear headphones at an audible, but comfortable volume. 🎧
Start by finding a frequency that feels good or soothing to your brain. Note: You may find that different frequencies feel better on different days.
After choosing a good frequency, try the "Modulate" option to increase effectiveness of the therapy, and the amount of time you can listen for ("Continuous Tone" program only)
Use the "Timer" to conveniently time your session. A chime will play when your session ends. Don't listen longer than is comfortable.
Experiment with adjusting the frequency up or down during your session, as the frequency which feels best to you may actually shift. For example, if you pick 40Hz as your starting frequency, after several minutes you may now find that 38Hz feels better (and so on).
For maximum impact, don't do other mental activities while listening.
